Confidence

Confidence is an intangible quality, but an essential one for success in life. It’s also difficult to develop in children once it’s been lost.

Forest School helps children to develop their confidence and self esteem. It can be particularly useful for children who may struggle in the classroom environment. They learn to solve problems, show creativity and imagination, their behaviour becomes more enterprising and their confidence grows. It’s not only a self-reinforcing cycle; as children develop through Forest School they can take their new-found confidence into other areas of their lives.
